Shazana has been working as an Emotional Wellbeing Practitioner for the REACH partnership since 2015. Her role involves working with young people in mainstreams schools to provide 1:1 support and group work around issues such as low mood, anxiety, anger management, low self-esteem and confidence.

Previous to working for The Link, Shazana worked for Mental Health Matters, Teesside Magistates Court as a Witness Advocate and Leeds City Council as an Education Welfare Officer. She has worked alongside various agencies including The Children's Society, Leeds Teenage Pregnancy Parenthood Initiative, West Yorkshire Police, Youth Offending Services and CAMHS.
